Transitional Trade is working on
Connecting international investors with investment opportunities in post-conflict nations as well as diaspora communities from post-conflict nations.
• Through the research process, we will act as a bridge for disparate groups who do not often interact. They will all be drawn to the project in which they took part. Ultimately, we will measure success by comparing the current number of international investors in specific sectors and different geographical locations versus the number of investors in a year, five (5) years and ten (10) years.
Providing a forum for exchange of ideas and views between various national and international organizations and stake-holders such as local communities, corporate entities, and both international and emigrant investors.
• We will measure success by observing how many organizations, such as the US Angolan Chamber of Commerce and other organizations that promote investment as well as a positive image of their countries, conduct seminars and conferences specifically targeting international and emigrant investors.
Providing objective information about post-conflict countries and the issues involved with investing there.
• We will measure success by continuously conducting surveys about knowledge and perceptions of post-conflict countries, investment opportunities there, and likelihood to invest.
