There are several barriers to entry in post-conflict economies. 
The lack of and/or inferior infrastructure, novice political leadership, lack of transparency, suspicion based on the lingering negative perceptions of these countries as unstable and insecure, and/or lack of knowledge about business norms and practices

Transitional Trade is a non-profit organization aims to:
  
* Provide a forum and promote awareness of investment and entrepreneurship
opportunities so as to encourage sustainable development and sustainable peace in transitional communities and post-conflict nations.
   * Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and views between various stake-holders,
national and international organizations and eminent individuals of similar interest.
   * Collect, compile and disseminate information related to social, ethical and environmental investments, opportunities with a strong focus on social and ethical investing  and corporate social responsibility.
   * Advocate as collective voices of transitional communities representing them viable and profitable investment options.
   * Build public-private partnerships devoted to promoting a positive outlook on transitional communities and post-conflict nations
   * Establish a code of ethical standards and trade practices.
   * Strengthen Diaspora relations in order to promote investment and entrepreneurship opportunities in transitional communities and post-conflict nations. 


RCA and Transitional Trade Alliance

Rwanda Convention Association (RCA) has joined forces with Transitional Trade an organization that is dedicated in aiding investment in post-conflict nations. The joint collaborative work has been developed to provide both a profitable investment for foreign investors and organizations based in North America, while aiding to boost Rwandan economy and development.
Transitional Trade through its research process will measure success of investment by comparing the current number of international investors in specific sectors and different geographical locations versus the number of investors in a year, five (5) years and ten (10) years.
RCA will aid in targeting companies and organizations interested in investing in Rwanda and through its annual Rwanda Convention will provide a platform and bridge to facilitate investment in Rwanda.
